I love this runner! I want to be able to have a beautiful house and let my kids be kids too. This rug allows me to relax a little bit when the kids come rushing in from playing outside in the snow or if they have muddy boots from the rain. We usually use the back door as our entrance so I placed this 2 ft 7 in by 8 ft runner at the back door and it allows plenty of room for the kids to keep muddy or wet shoes off my hardwood floors. The very first day they got it muddy I just wiped the mud off with a microfiber cloth! No stains! I also got the felt rug pad that they sell and it is a very nice quality. It has a super anti-slip bottom that does well with my hardwood floors. And the rug stays perfectly on top and does not shift. I'm able to use my shark vacuum on top of it with no problem. I even use the carpet setting and it is just perfect, it does not move or scrunch up. The one picture of the whole runner is the very first time I unrolled it so the edges were curled up a little bit. All I did was curl the edges under for a second and then let it back out and it immediately flattened out.

I was happily surprised over the quality of this rug pad. Let’s be honest, it’s a rug pad that will never be seen, but it is very nice, perfect thickness and grip. I was impressed and will always get my rug pads from BR moving forward.

Q: The dual purpose rug pad has a rubber on the underside. Is this natural rubber, or synthetic. Not supposed to use synthetic rubber in a wood floor, so it is important I know if the rubber is synthetic. Thank you.
