Vintage looking rug for so inexpensive!

I've been hunting for a rug for ten months. Nothing was the right pattern/style/color, or the right price point. Then when I saw this I was like....hollddddd on. I got it on a sale for $190 and I got a 7'10"x10'2"! I'm telling you, unless you are super close to a really good flea market and can get a vintage rug for a nickel or dime, this website is your best friend. Most of the vintage rugs I found online, since I'm in a rural area with no flea markets, were about $1k-5k. Wayyyy out of my price range, especially for a style that I may eventually want to rotate out. But now that I have this rug, it is just PERFECT in my boho/midcentury/urban/scandi style that I love! This is a flat rug, no texture on it, but it's soft, almost feels like a crushed velvet texture, but really short. The one and one complaint I have is that it does shift out of place even though it's placed on medium shag carpet. But once we had the coffee table down it helps to make sure it's just a tug to get it flat again if it gets bunched. I'm sure that's just because of how flat it is, and the fact we have a massive Aussie/German Shepherd, two adults, and a three year old rolling around on it.

This rug is beautiful and was exactly what I was looking for in the space. It seems very easy to clean as well due to it being flat weave! The colors are deep and moody.

This rug met my need for something at my back door that gets used all the time. We live in a farm and I wanted something washable. The color is nice, maybe a little more coral rose than I thought. And there is quite a bit of navy. Also, the rug is a little thin. But it does look good!

Q: I purchased this rug and loved it when we first got it, however it has faded pretty drastically on one side. It is the side where there is the most traffic in our home, but i feel it shouldn’t be doing this. Have you had other complaints about this?

Q: Wats size rug pad do you recommend for 8’10”x12 rug?
A: Hi Sanders, We always recommend using a rug pad underneath your area rug. It protects your floor, keeps the rug in place, and it makes your rug lasts longer. You should purchase a rug pad that has the same dimensions as the rug you purchased.
