Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:

Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

I purchased the 3x8 runner for our front door to our stairs and I love it. We also bought the runner pad and it came 3x12 so I cut off 4.5 feet and it fits like a charm. The run instantly "laid down" as its not that cheap thin carpet fabric. Since its thicker its heavier and the runner is 3 inches smaller on all sides which encourages the runner to tilt towards the floor. My husband is a man of few words and he exclaimed how much he liked in the first couple of days. WIN!

This rug is the real thing. So soft and just beautiful. Shipping was super fast. Two days the week of Thanksgiving. Also the shipping company brought my first one and left it where it got damaged and boutique rugs replaced it and sent me a new one and it wasn't even their fault.
