Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular flatweave area rug covered entirely in tight, evenly spaced horizontal stripes running the full width of the rug. The stripes vary in width — some narrow, some slightly wider — and cycle through a vivid palette of bold red, hot pink, white, lime green, yellow, and orange, creating a dense, rainbow-like rhythm across the surface. The pile is very low and flat with a smooth, woven texture showing fine yarn detail. The top and bottom edges finish with short, cream-colored fringe tassels approximately 1–1.5 inches long.
