A rectangular hand-knotted wool area rug with a soft cream/ivory field covered in an allover repeating geometric medallion pattern. The motifs are rendered in sage green, muted gray-green, and soft charcoal, featuring layered diamond shapes, stylized floral rosettes, and small geometric fill elements arranged in a regular grid across the entire field. A classic decorative border frames the rug with repeating geometric and scrollwork motifs in the same sage and gray tones against the cream ground. The pile is very low and tight, giving the surface a flat, slightly textured appearance with visible knot structure. Short cream-colored fringe runs along the two short ends of the rug. The overall impression is of a quietly elegant, antique-inspired traditional rug with a soft, washed-out palette.
