Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

This is a fabulous quality rug for the price (on sale) - good pile density and I don't think it will flatten as quickly as other synthetic rugs I've had. Wish the color had been a little warmer or more neutral - the description says it has "cream" as one of the colors but it's really a very light grey and much cooler-toned. Fortunately we can make it work in the space.

I bought this rug as a test rug for my foyer, but bought it in a smaller size to try out in my half bathroom first. The carpet is well made and very soft. Can’t wait to buy this carpet again in a bigger size.
