- Use a dry cotton or white paper towel to blot out as much of the stain as possible.
- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular area rug with a warm beige/cream base featuring a large, elaborate circular medallion at the center composed of concentric rings of geometric triangles, floral rosettes, and stylized leaf motifs in navy blue, deep red, burnished gold, and cream. Four smaller circular medallion accents appear in the corners of the field. The entire design is framed by multiple ornate borders — the outermost being a deep navy blue band with repeating ikat-style motifs, and inner borders featuring flowing floral scroll patterns in red, gold, and blue. The surface has a smooth, low-pile machine-woven texture with a slightly aged, softly distressed appearance. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
