A rectangular shag area rug featuring a classic checkerboard pattern in two alternating colors: warm taupe-brown and soft cream/off-white. The squares are evenly sized and arranged in a traditional alternating grid across the entire rug surface with no border. The pile is very thick and plush — nearly 2 inches high — giving each square a slightly rounded, cushioned appearance with visible texture variation within each block.
