A rectangular area rug with a dense, allover abstract pattern covering the entire surface with no border. The background is a warm mid-tan, and layered over it are countless short, angular, irregular line segments and broken shapes in a slightly darker golden-brown and soft beige — resembling scattered brushstrokes, broken sticks, or fragmented geometric marks arranged in a seemingly random but balanced composition. The overall effect is tone-on-tone: from a distance it reads as a rich textured tan field; up close the individual marks become visible.
