- Gently scrape off any food or debris using a dull instrument.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of a small amount of dish soap mixed with a cup of cold water. With a clean sponge and this soap mixture, clean the remainder of the stain and allow it to dry.
- For comprehensive cleaning, apply a mixture of soap and water and spray over the rug, then rinse off using a garden hose.

A rectangular flatweave area rug in a warm cream and sandy beige colorway. The entire surface is covered in horizontal bands of repeating geometric motifs — rows of small chevrons, diamond outlines, tiny dot-and-dash borders, and delicate zigzag lines — all rendered in a slightly deeper beige/tan against the cream ground, creating a tonal, tone-on-tone effect. The pattern is dense and allover with no central medallion, running edge to edge with a subtle outer border framing the design.
