Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular high-pile area rug with a warm cream/ivory base covering approximately 65% of the surface. Bold, thick black abstract line art sweeps across the entire rug in continuous looping, swirling curves — organic and free-flowing, resembling large-scale gestural brushstrokes or a single continuous line drawn in loose spirals and figure-eight shapes. The black lines are uniform in width, roughly 0.5–0.75 inches thick visually, with no fill — just the outline curves on the cream ground. The pile is visibly thick and plush with a soft, slightly textured surface. Along the top and bottom short edges, short white cotton tassels (approximately 1.6 inches long) hang evenly spaced, adding a clean fringe detail.
