A rectangular hand-knotted wool area rug with a soft sage green field as the dominant background. The field is decorated with five circular floral medallions arranged symmetrically — one large central medallion and four flanking ones — rendered in deep black and cream with intricate scrolling botanical details. Scattered between the medallions are smaller floral sprigs and vine motifs in black and white. The rug is framed by a wide outer border featuring a bold Greek key (meander) pattern in black on a cream ground, with a thin inner transitional border of delicate black scrollwork. The pile is medium height with a slightly textured, handmade appearance. The edges appear bound with fringe-like detail at the short ends.
