A rectangular area rug with a deep, near-solid black ground covering approximately 70% of the surface. The design features a large central diamond-shaped medallion filled with intricate white floral and scrollwork motifs, flanked above and below by smaller floral bouquet accents. The field is surrounded by a multi-layered ornate border system — an inner geometric frame, a main border with repeating floral vine scrollwork, and a narrow outer guard border — all rendered in bright white against the black ground. The pile is medium height with a slightly textured, hand-tufted surface visible in the pattern relief. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is of a classic Persian or Oriental-style rug rendered in a dramatic monochromatic black and white palette.
