A rectangular flatweave area rug with a classic Persian medallion layout. The field is a deep slate blue-gray, featuring a large central medallion with intricate floral and scrollwork detailing in lighter blue, ivory, and soft gray tones. The medallion is surrounded by an allover field of smaller floral and vine motifs in the same cool palette. A multi-layered border frames the rug with repeating geometric and floral bands in ivory, light blue, and gray. The surface has a smooth, low-profile machine-woven texture with a deliberately distressed, faded finish that gives it an antique, worn appearance. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
