A rectangular hand-knotted wool area rug with a classic Persian Heriz-style composition. The central field is a warm cream-ivory color featuring a large diamond-shaped medallion with a navy blue core medallion, surrounded by a rust-orange secondary diamond frame, all filled with delicate floral and leaf motifs in muted blues, greens, and reds. The main field transitions to a golden tan zone before meeting a wide rust-orange border filled with dense scrolling floral and vine patterns in navy, cream, and brown. A narrow inner guard border and outer guard border frame the design. The pile is low and tight, giving the surface a refined, slightly flat appearance with visible knot texture. Short cream-colored fringe runs along both short ends of the rug. The overall impression is rich, warm, and classically ornate.
