A rectangular hand-hooked wool area rug with a deep, solid black background covering approximately 60% of the surface. Across the entire field, flowing botanical vines branch outward bearing large blooming flowers in deep red, cream/ivory, and soft blush, with abundant leaves in sage green, olive, and warm gray. The floral arrangement is allover and organic — no central medallion — with stems curling naturally from corner to corner. The border is a narrow scalloped or sawtooth pattern in cream and tan against the black edge, giving the rug a finished, tailored frame. The pile is low and tightly hooked, giving the surface a slightly textured, handcrafted appearance with visible loop-cut texture.
