A rectangular shag area rug with a classic checkerboard pattern of alternating deep black and bright white squares arranged in a uniform grid across the entire surface. The thick, high-pile shag construction — approximately 2 inches tall — gives each square a slightly raised, fluffy texture that creates subtle dimensional depth and soft shadow lines between the color blocks.
