A rectangular traditional area rug with a warm taupe field and a central medallion motif rendered in muted cream and light beige tones. The medallion is surrounded by an allover field of finely detailed traditional floral and geometric scrollwork in tonal taupe-on-taupe, giving the surface a richly layered but subdued appearance. A multi-layered ornate border frames the entire rug with repeating classical motifs in cream and soft brown. The entire surface has a beautifully distressed, faded finish — as if gently worn over time — with no single element standing out sharply, creating a soft, hazy, antique quality. The pile is smooth and machine-woven with a low-to-medium texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
