A rectangular flat-pile area rug featuring a large central hexagonal medallion in deep burgundy red and steel blue, filled with intricate ivory and cream floral scrollwork motifs. The field surrounding the medallion is a warm tan and brown ground with scattered floral and botanical details in blue, red, and cream. The rug is framed by multiple concentric borders — a wide ornate floral border in blue and cream, flanked by narrow geometric guard borders in red and ivory. The overall surface has a deliberately faded, distressed appearance giving it an antique, sun-worn quality. The pile is extremely low and smooth with a machine-woven flatweave texture.
