A rectangular hand knotted wool rug with a soft cream/ivory base field. The central design features a large, ornate distressed floral medallion surrounded by an allover field of scrolling floral and leaf motifs rendered in muted olive, warm beige, and tan tones. The entire pattern has an intentionally faded, worn appearance — as if the rug has been sun-bleached over decades — giving it an antique Persian character. A subtle multi-line border frames the design on all four sides. The texture is low and flat with a tight, fine knot structure visible on close inspection.
