A rectangular, low-pile area rug with a classic distressed Persian medallion design. The field is a warm cream and beige base with a large central medallion rendered in muted gray and taupe tones, surrounded by intricate scrolling floral and geometric fill motifs. Multiple layered borders frame the field — the outermost border is a deeper gray-taupe with repeating geometric and floral elements, and inner guard borders add fine detail. The entire surface has a deliberately faded, worn-in finish that softens all colors and gives the rug an antique, heirloom quality. The pile is very low and smooth with a machine-woven texture.
