Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular area rug with a cool medium gray field and an allover tribal geometric pattern composed of repeating large diamond medallions in cream and off-white, each filled with nested stepped squares and small cross motifs. Horizontal bands of smaller geometric shapes — including scalloped wave borders, rows of small diamonds, and checkerboard-style accents — divide the field into structured registers. The pattern is rendered in cream, off-white, and charcoal black against the gray ground, creating strong graphic contrast. The pile has a visible high/low texture that gives the raised cream motifs a dimensional, almost sculptural quality. Short cream fringe trim runs along the two short ends of the rug.
