Follow these steps to keep your shag rugs looking their best:

A rectangular high-pile area rug with a cool medium gray base and bold, organic cloud-like forms in cream and ivory distributed across the entire surface in an allover abstract pattern. The cream sections are raised significantly above the gray ground, creating a sculptural, high-relief texture that gives the rug a three-dimensional quality. The gray areas show a tighter, more uniform weave while the cream tufts are loose and plush, almost resembling natural coral or lichen formations. There is a subtle hint of pale blue-gray in some of the mid-tone areas. The edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. Overall impression: a painterly, organic abstract rug with dramatic texture contrast between the raised cream pile and the flatter gray ground.
