A large rectangular area rug in a uniform, deep matte black color with no pattern, border, or variation. The surface is covered in a dense, high-pile shag texture — long, loosely packed polyester fibers that catch light subtly and give the rug a soft, dimensional appearance. The pile is approximately 1.77 inches tall, creating a thick, plush surface that looks luxuriously fluffy. The edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. Viewed from above, the rug appears as a solid field of rich black with slight tonal variation caused by the direction of the pile fibers. Overall impression: bold, minimal, and deeply textured.
