A rectangular flatweave wool rug with a warm mustard yellow ground covering approximately 65% of the surface. Arranged in a uniform allover grid pattern are large, symmetrical ikat-style medallions in deep purple-gray — each medallion has an organic, slightly blurred edge quality typical of ikat dyeing, with bilateral symmetry suggesting a stylized floral or foliate form. The medallions are evenly spaced in offset rows across the entire field with no border. The surface is smooth and low with visible woven texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
