A large rectangular area rug with a warm ivory/cream base covering approximately 80% of the surface. A bold brown geometric cross pattern runs vertically and horizontally through the center of the rug, dividing it into four quadrants. At the intersection of the cross, a dense checkerboard grid of brown and ivory squares forms a central focal point, which then transitions outward into rows of smaller checkered dots and dashes along the cross arms. The cross arms extend to all four edges of the rug with fine linear striping in brown on ivory. The pile has a visible high-low texture — some areas appear slightly raised and denser, giving the surface a subtle dimensional quality. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is architectural and structured, like a blueprint rendered in warm neutral tones.
