A rectangular hand-knotted area rug with a deep chestnut brown field covering the majority of the surface. A large central medallion in soft beige and tan sits at the center, featuring a layered diamond-lozenge shape filled with intricate floral rosette motifs. The field surrounding the medallion is densely covered in scrolling floral vines, palmettes, and small botanical details in the same beige-tan palette against the brown ground. Multiple concentric borders frame the design — the main border carries a repeating floral vine, with narrower guard borders in geometric step patterns. The pile is very low and tight, giving the surface a smooth, slightly lustrous finish from the viscose content. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
