- Use a wool-approved product in combination with spray extraction for cleaning.
- Note that shedding is a normal occurrence for shag rugs and will decrease over time. Avoid pulling the yarn out as it may cause rug damage.
- For effective cleaning, opt for canister vacuums without a beater bar. Vacuums that have beater bars and/or brushes, or those set too low, may potentially damage the rug's surface.

This black rug runner is perfect for the space in my kitchen in front of the sink/dishwasher! It is soft and provides a good cushioned space for standing. I haven’t washed it yet, but I do recommend putting a non-skid pad beneath it.
