A rectangular hand woven jute area rug with a warm cream base and tan/light brown geometric tribal pattern covering the entire field. The pattern consists of bold diamond shapes filled with intricate maze-like angular lines and concentric geometric motifs, reminiscent of African or Moroccan folk art. The design is allover with no central medallion — the diamonds repeat vertically and are separated by angular connecting lines. The border is a slightly darker tan/brown solid band that frames the field. The texture is visibly coarse and woven, with natural fiber irregularities that give it an artisan, handcrafted appearance. The pile is low and flat with a slightly raised woven texture. Edges are bound with no fringe or tassels.
