A rectangular hand-knotted wool area rug with an allover traditional Persian geometric pattern rendered entirely in muted, faded tones of warm beige, smoky gray, and taupe. The pattern features repeating small-scale medallion-like motifs, stylized floral and geometric elements distributed evenly across the field, with a subtle multi-line border framing the edges. The overall effect is heavily distressed and washed-out, as if the rug has been gently aged — the motifs are visible but soft, never sharp or high-contrast. The pile is extremely low and flat, giving the surface a smooth, almost tapestry-like texture with slight visible knot structure. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
