A rectangular hand-knotted wool rug with a deep jet-black primary field completely covered in an allover Persian floral scrollwork pattern. The central field features symmetrical, densely packed botanical motifs — large stylized blossoms, curling acanthus leaves, and vine tendrils rendered in warm antique gold, beige, and muted rust tones. A wide ornate border in deep burgundy-red frames the entire rug, filled with repeating floral rosettes and scrolling vine details in gold and cream. A narrow dark inner guard stripe separates the field from the border. The pile is medium height with a slightly lustrous wool sheen. Short cream-colored fringe runs along both short ends.
