A rectangular hand-knotted wool rug with a deep, saturated teal field covering the majority of the surface. Centered on the field is a large hexagonal medallion with pointed tips, rendered in ivory, red, yellow, green, and light blue, filled with dense geometric and floral lattice motifs. Small floral sprigs in red and multicolor accent the teal field around the medallion. The rug is framed by a wide ivory and warm gold border filled with continuous scrolling floral vine patterns in red, green, blue, and teal. A narrow red inner guard stripe and a thin outer stripe complete the layered border system. The surface is flat and low-profile with a tight, dense hand-knotted weave showing fine texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is of a jewel-toned, richly detailed traditional Persian carpet.
