Follow these steps to keep your shag rugs looking their best:
- Use a wool-approved product in combination with spray extraction for cleaning.
- Note that shedding is a normal occurrence for shag rugs and will decrease over time. Avoid pulling the yarn out as it may cause rug damage.

A rectangular high-pile shag rug with a deep black background covering approximately 70% of the surface. Scattered evenly across the field are large cream-white cross (plus-sign) shapes in a loose, slightly organic repeat — approximately 12-15 crosses visible across the rug's face. The crosses have slightly irregular, hand-crafted edges giving them a painterly quality rather than a perfectly geometric look. The pile is visibly thick and fluffy, with the cream fibers appearing slightly raised and voluminous against the dark base. Edges are bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is bold, graphic, and modern — like a Scandinavian-inspired textile blown up to floor scale.
