A rectangular traditional Persian-style area rug with a central medallion design on a deep slate blue field. The medallion features a layered diamond shape in cream and soft beige with small floral motifs at its center, surrounded by ornate scrolling floral details in rust, terracotta, and muted brown. The field transitions outward through rust and terracotta tones before meeting a series of intricate geometric and floral borders in cream, gray, and brown. The entire surface has a deliberately faded, distressed finish giving it a sun-worn antique appearance. The texture is smooth and flat — a low-profile machine-woven flatweave with no visible pile. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
