Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular, low-pile area rug in a warm cream and soft beige colorway with a repeating large-scale diamond trellis pattern rendered in tone-on-tone texture — the diamond lines are slightly deeper beige against the cream ground, creating a subtle but clearly visible geometric grid across the entire surface. The weave has a fine horizontal ribbed texture visible between the diamond lines, adding tactile depth without color contrast. The rug's short edges are finished with white fringe tassels approximately 4 inches long, hanging in an even, delicate fringe.
