A rectangular vintage-style Persian area rug with a dominant warm rust and terracotta field. The central design features a large, ornate geometric medallion with layered diamond and star forms, rendered in dusty slate blue, cream, and deep navy against the rust ground. Intricate floral scrollwork and arabesques fill the field surrounding the medallion. A multi-layered border frames the entire rug — the outer border in dusty blue-gray with repeating floral motifs, inner guards in cream and rust. The overall finish has a deliberately distressed, softly faded quality giving it an antique, sun-worn appearance. The pile is very low and smooth with a flat machine-woven surface texture. Edges appear cleanly bound with no visible fringe in the main image. The color palette is warm earth tones — rust, cream, beige, tan — punctuated by muted blue and navy accents throughout.
