The surface features a repeating geometric medallion pattern arranged in a grid — each medallion is composed of stepped, angular forms with cross-like and diamond sub-elements, rendered in a tone-on-tone technique where the pattern and background are nearly the same color, creating a subtle relief-like visual effect.
