A rectangular flatweave area rug with a heavily distressed Persian medallion design. The dominant color is warm rust and terracotta, covering roughly 40% of the surface in irregular, eroded patches that bleed into a creamy ivory center and soft sage green undertones. The pattern appears to be a traditional Persian layout — central medallion with ornate border — but is so heavily faded and abstracted that the motifs are partially dissolved, giving it a painterly, watercolor-like quality. The edges are clean and bound with no fringe or tassels. The surface texture appears flat and tightly woven with visible knot structure.
