A rectangular flatweave area rug with a large, open ivory-white center field that takes up roughly 75% of the surface. The field has a subtle horizontal texture from the hand-woven jute and cotton construction, giving it a slightly striated, organic appearance. Along all four edges runs a bold border composed of alternating tan and white squares of equal size, creating a clean checkerboard-style frame. The tan squares are a warm, natural golden-brown — the color of raw jute — while the white squares match the field. The border squares are evenly spaced and consistently sized. Edges are bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is minimal, graphic, and naturally textured — like a classic linen canvas with a geometric frame.
