- 100% genuine leather — handcrafted in Argentina
- Natural animal silhouette shape, no two hides identical
- Rich warm brown with organic mottled variation
- Ultra-thin 0.1" profile — lays flat, robot vacuum friendly
- No pile, no shedding — easy to spot clean and maintain
- Rustic yet versatile — works in farmhouse, modern, or eclectic spaces
A genuine cowhide rug in a natural animal silhouette shape — wide across the shoulders, tapering toward the bottom with organic irregular edges that follow the natural contours of a hide. The surface is a deep, warm chocolate brown with subtle mottled variation: slightly lighter tan undertones in the center and faint darker patches scattered across the surface, giving it a natural, lived-in character. The texture is smooth and flat with no pile — the leather surface has a slight sheen and visible natural grain. Edges are clean and natural, following the hide's outline with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is bold, earthy, and authentically rustic.

Add a touch of rustic elegance to your home with the Sitka 5x7 Cowhide Rug Collection. These rugs are hand crafted, radiating an atmosphere that can only be created by a handmade rug. Made with Leather in Argentina, and has No Pile.
Living Room
When selecting a living room rug, choose one that anchors your furniture by either placing all the legs on the rug or just the front legs, which helps define the seating area and enhances the room’s acoustics.
Dining Room
When selecting a dining room rug, choose one large enough to fit under the table and chairs, ensuring that when the chairs are pulled out, they remain on the rug for a balanced look.
Bedroom
In the bedroom, opt for a rug that extends under the bed, providing a soft surface to step onto when getting out of bed and creating a cozy atmosphere.
Kitchen
For the kitchen, select a rug to place in front of the sink or under the countertops, offering comfort while standing and adding warmth to the space.
Bathroom
Choose a bathroom rug that fits comfortably in front of the sink or shower, providing a soft and absorbent surface for stepping out. For larger bathrooms, consider a rug that covers more area to enhance warmth and comfort.
Outdoor
For outdoor spaces like patios or decks, select a rug that complements the size of your seating area, leaving enough space around the furniture to create a well-defined and inviting look. Opt for weather-resistant materials to ensure durability.
