Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:

Rug is as pictured. I hope it will stand the test of time in our family room beyond this week I have had it so far. I am happy to say this rug does not shed (like my last rug which was a more expensive high like 100% wool rug). It will also hide minor stains which we needed for a family of five. It feels good enough with a premium rug pad and again, I hope it wears well in this regard so it remains soft both in the fabric/touch and underfoot since the pile is not all that thick.
