A rectangular hand-knotted area rug with a dominant faded, dusty blue field that covers the majority of the surface. At the center sits a large octagonal medallion with intricate floral and geometric detailing in cream, gold, and soft terracotta tones. The field is filled with an allover floral scrollwork pattern in muted cream and ivory, rendered in a heavily distressed, worn-away style that gives the rug an antique, heirloom appearance. A bold rust and terracotta border frames the entire rug, featuring repeating floral and vine motifs. The outer edge transitions to a beige/cream secondary border. The pile is low and tight with a subtle silky sheen from the viscose content. Short fringe edges (approximately 0.5 inches) run along the two short ends of the rug.
