Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.

A rectangular area rug with a cream/off-white base and an allover repeating diamond trellis pattern rendered in dense black linework. The diamonds are formed by crossing diagonal lines that create an X-grid across the entire field, with the interior of each diamond filled with vertical black texture marks giving the surface a richly woven, slightly distressed appearance. A geometric border frames the rug on all four sides, featuring a repeating small triangular or arrow motif in black on cream. The pile is medium-low with a slightly textured, matte surface — not shiny, with visible weave structure. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The overall impression is bold, graphic, and modern with a handcrafted textural quality.
