A rectangular hand-woven area rug with a striking high-low stripe pattern running horizontally across the full width. The dominant color is a warm medium gray, appearing in thick, shaggy, long-pile bands that alternate with flatter, tighter-woven cream and off-white sections. The contrast between the plush shaggy rows and the smooth flat-woven rows creates a deeply textural, almost sculptural surface.
