A rectangular area rug with a classic Persian medallion layout featuring a large central medallion in faded slate blue and cream, surrounded by intricate floral scrollwork and vine motifs across a warm sandy beige and tan field. The entire surface has a heavily distressed, sun-faded finish that gives it an antique, worn-in appearance. A multi-layered ornate border in deep blue-gray frames the field with repeating floral and geometric detail. The pile is extremely low and flat — almost flatweave in appearance — with a smooth, machine-woven surface texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
