The central design features a large bold black semicircular arch shape in the upper-center of the rug, filled with and surrounded by vertical dashed/broken lines in charcoal black that radiate downward from the arch, creating a sunrise or half-moon ray effect. The dashed lines vary slightly in length and density, giving the pattern a hand-printed, slightly organic quality. The top and bottom edges of the rug feature two to three horizontal striped borders in the same charcoal black, framing the central motif. The surface is smooth and flat with no visible pile — a tight machine-woven flatweave texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
