A rectangular shag area rug with a bold, high-contrast black and white diamond checkerboard pattern. The white background is bright and clean, while deep charcoal-black diamond shapes are arranged in a repeating diagonal grid across the entire surface — approximately 4 columns and 5 rows of diamonds visible. The pile is very long and fluffy (nearly 2 inches), giving each diamond a soft, slightly textured edge rather than a razor-sharp line. The overall effect is a classic harlequin or argyle-style checkerboard rotated 45 degrees. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels. The rug has a plush, cloud-like surface texture visible throughout. Shape is rectangular with a standard portrait orientation.
