Maintaining synthetic fiber rugs involves the following steps:
- Start by blotting out as much of the stain as possible using a dry cotton or white paper towel.
- Use a blunt instrument to scrape off any food or debris gently.
- Create a mixture of a minimal amount of dish soap with a cup of cold water. Employ this mix and a clean sponge to remove the remainder of the stain.
- After cleaning, blot the area with a dry towel to remove any excess moisture.

A rectangular area rug with a warm cream/ivory base color covering approximately 65% of the surface. An allover repeating diamond lattice pattern fills the entire field in soft gray, creating a tone-on-tone geometric trellis effect. The rug features a prominent multi-band border system: an outer band of small repeating diamond motifs in gray, a narrow dark gray accent stripe, a wider inner band of larger nested diamond shapes, another narrow stripe, and a subtle inner frame — all in coordinating gray tones on cream. The pile is medium height with a smooth, machine-woven surface texture. Edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
