A rectangular flatweave area rug with a classic Persian-style central medallion design. The field is a softly faded warm beige and taupe, with a large charcoal gray medallion at the center featuring intricate floral and scrollwork detailing in cream and muted gold tones. The medallion is framed by a lighter ivory inner field with additional ornate motifs in the corners. A multi-layered border runs along all four edges — the inner border in charcoal gray with repeating geometric and floral elements, and the outer border in warm tan and brown with a detailed traditional pattern. The entire rug has a deliberately distressed, washed-out finish that gives it an antique, time-worn appearance. The surface is smooth and flat with no visible pile, and edges are cleanly bound with no fringe or tassels.
