A rectangular area rug in a uniform medium gray tone, covered edge to edge in tight, horizontal ribbed stripes running the full width of the rug. The stripes are tone-on-tone — the same gray in two slightly different values or textures, creating a subtle high/low relief pattern rather than a color contrast. The viscose pile gives the surface a soft, silky sheen that shifts slightly as the viewing angle changes. The pile is low to medium height, smooth and flat in appearance.
